Leddy Uniforms – Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

This policy is in accordance with Irish consumer law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.


Change of Mind Returns (Online Orders)

If you purchase an item online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without providing a reason.

Once you notify us of cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the item.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unworn and unused
  • In the same condition as received
  • With all original tags attached
  • In original packaging
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

Extended 30-Day Returns (Leddy Uniforms Policy)

In addition to your statutory rights, Leddy Uniforms offers an extended 30-day return period from the date of delivery, subject to the same conditions listed above.

This extended policy does not affect your legal rights.

Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Under Irish consumer law, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at sales@leddyuniforms.ie so we can arrange a repair, replacement, or refund, as appropriate.


Items That Cannot Be Returned

We do not accept returns for:

  • Custom-made or personalised items, including embroidered or special-order uniforms
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Items sealed for hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery

These exclusions are in line with Irish and EU consumer law.


Exchanges

We offer exchanges, subject to the conditions below.

To be eligible for an exchange:

  • The item must meet our standard return conditions
  • The original receipt or proof of purchase must be provided
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability

Items may be exchanged for:

  • A different size
  • A different colour
  • A different product

Price Differences on Exchanges

  • If the exchanged item is higher in value, the price difference must be paid
  • If the exchanged item is lower in value, the difference will be issued as a gift card or store credit
  • No cash or card refunds are issued for price differences on exchanges

Custom-made or personalised items, sale items, and gift cards are not eligible for exchange.


Refund Method – Same Payment Method Policy

All refunds are processed only to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • Card payments are refunded to the same card used for purchase
  • Cash refunds are not available for card purchases
  • Refunds cannot be transferred to a different card or payment method

This applies to all approved refunds unless otherwise required by law.


Refund Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Refunds are issued within 14 days, in line with Irish consumer law

Please note that banks and card providers may take additional time to complete processing.

Return Costs

  • For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs may be the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated

  • For faulty or incorrect items, Leddy Uniforms will cover return shipping costs
