Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

This policy is in accordance with Irish consumer law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

EU Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

If you purchase goods online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, please submit a request through our Returns & Cancellations form available in the footer of our website or contact us at info@leddyuniforms.ie.

Once you notify us of your cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

To be eligible for a return under the cooling-off period, items must be:

  • Unworn and unused

  • In the same condition as received

  • With all original tags attached

  • In the original packaging

  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

Cancellation Before Dispatch

If your order has not yet been dispatched, you may cancel it by contacting us through our Returns & Cancellations form or by emailing info@leddyuniforms.ie.

If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Extended 30-Day Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory rights, Leddy Uniforms offers an extended 30-day return period from the date of delivery, subject to the same conditions listed above.

This extended policy does not affect your legal rights.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please use our Returns & Cancellations form available in the footer of our website or contact us at info@leddyuniforms.ie.

Once your return request is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to return your item.

Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Under Irish consumer law, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us immediately at info@leddyuniforms.ie so we can arrange a repair, replacement or refund, as appropriate.

For faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items, Leddy Uniforms will cover the return shipping costs.

Customised and Personalised Items

Under EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.

This includes:

  • Embroidered uniforms

  • Garments customised with names, logos or initials

  • Special-order items sourced specifically for a customer

These items cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded unless they are faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

We do not accept returns for:

  • Custom-made or personalised items

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Gift cards

  • Items sealed for hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery

These exclusions are in line with Irish and EU consumer law.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges subject to the conditions below.

To be eligible for an exchange:

  • The item must meet our standard return conditions

  • The original receipt or proof of purchase must be provided

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability

Items may be exchanged for:

  • A different size

  • A different colour

  • A different product

  • Gift card or store credit

Price Differences on Exchanges

  • If the exchanged item is higher in value, the price difference must be paid.

  • If the exchanged item is lower in value, the difference will be issued as store credit or a gift card.

  • No cash or card refunds are issued for price differences on exchanges.

Custom-made or personalised items, sale items and gift cards are not eligible for exchange.

Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

For faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items, Leddy Uniforms will cover the return shipping costs.

Refund Method

All refunds are processed to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • Card payments are refunded to the same card used for purchase.

  • Cash refunds are not available for card purchases.

  • Refunds cannot be transferred to a different card or payment method.

This applies to all approved refunds unless otherwise required by law.

Refund Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Please note that banks and card providers may take additional time to complete the refund process.
